Overview
Under the new law for Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities (AODA) organization must consider how to best serve people with disabilities. Although the Accessibility Standards for the Built Environment are not yet law, organizations are eager to assess the current level of accessibility for people with disabilities in their various facilities and other spaces. This workshop provides a framework for your organization to assess its current status and allows for the identification of priorities when renovating. This workshop helps to prepare staff to meet the emerging standards with regard to accessibility and adds to the accessibility expertise in your organization.
